The Refugee New Arrivals Project is a fellow refugee sector organisation to the NRC and a different legal entity. The NRC takes no responsibility for the content of this advert and for the recruitment process which is featured on this website as a public service only WANTED: To support the range of our Project's activities including: Information, Advice and Support - providing information, advice and support to help individual refugees and asylum seekers access appropriate education, volunteering and employment opportunities. Employability Support - running a volunteer work placement programme and support groups for refugees from professional backgrounds and liaising with local employers. Relevant experience and knowledge is essential - see Person Specification. An NVQ level 3 or 4 in Information, Advice and Guidance is desirable but applicants with other relevant experience/qualifications will be considered. Fixed term contract to end June 2008, in the first instance. Closing date: 12pm Thursday Nov 22nd. (Interviews to be held on 4th December) Applicants from refugee, black or ethnic minority backgrounds who meet the criteria in the Person Specification are encouraged to apply.
